    My wife and are are hung up on first names that start with
    an "A" that will go reasonably well with last name Mastin.
    We both agree on Alexa Ray for a girl and really like Austin
    James for a boy, but I pointed out that this name does not 
    go well with Mastin(Austin James Mastin).
    
    Actually I think we would both be happy with any first and 
    middle name that go well with Mastin, even if they don't start
    with an "A".

	re: Alexa Ray....I personally prefer the spelling "Rae" for a girl, it seems a bit more feminine. Lovely name, tho. I agree that Austin doesn't go too well with Mastin. How about Alexander for a boy? ...or Andrew or Anthony? A.J. is a cute nickname, too! Carol

	I agree with Carol that 'Rae' is more feminine than Ray. Ray, after all, is short for Raymond isn't it? I also like Alexander... Now don't laugh, but there's a character on a soap named Alex Masters. I think the soaps are a great place to find names. They'd never give a character on a show an awkward name. :-) Good luck, Kathryn P.S. I like the name Alexa with Mastin. There's Amy, too!

	Other "A" names: Anastasia Amber Aubrey Alanna Andrea Ashley Can't think of any A names for boys that I really like...except for Alexander, and that seems to be pretty popular these days. I like Alexa, too! Karin
