    A few years ago, I decided to go ahead and change my name.  I have
    always hated Marjorie Ann.  So I changed it to Ellen Elizabeth.  At
    the same time, my older daughter wanted to change her name from
    Julie Diane to Crystal Dawn.  So we filed name changes and had them
    legally changed to things we prefered.  My younger daughter is
    named Angelica Cristina (pronounced an-HE-lica) after a friend
    from Mexico.  (Other choices were Galilea and Alejandra.)  For
    a while she wanted to be called Angel because most of the people
    we know can't say her name right and we are forever correcting 
    them.
    
    I would like to know if anyone else has gone through a legal
    name change.  From--->To.
