| | Well, oddly enough, I think Chloe is a very pretty name, but I think
Phoebe is a very homely name.

I remember reading that Chloe is of Greek origin but don't remember
    the meaning.

| | I believe Olivia Newton-John's little girl's name is Chloe.

(I'm not too hot on either of them, myself.)

Candace Bergen also has a daughter named Chloe.

Not sure what Chloe means, but I think Phoebe means
"white" or "light". Male counterpart to Phoebe is
Phoebus, which is used in Classical literature
and poetry to refer to the sun. ("Phoebus' chariot
raced across the arc of heaven...", and similar ilk).

Phoebe is not such a bad name. There was a Phoebe
in my family who was everybody's favorite relative.
Of course, she was born well before the end of the last
century. She had a long life. I never hadf the chance
to know her, but have always heard good things about
    her.

There are a number of Phoebes in the family tree. This
name is also sometimes spelled Phebe. Pronounced as
you indicated in a previous note. I think this was a
common name in the 19th century.

| | whenever I see the name Phoebe, I think of
Phoebe Snow (singer/songwriter?) - not bad I guess,
but the name sounds kinda "meek".

Not crazy about Chloe - maybe because I've heard
of a lot of "stars" naming their children Chloe -
too trendy maybe? - also, it's hard to spell/write -
even typing this, I kept forgetting the "H" and
    had to backtrack....

    Just my opinion! Good Luck
