| | I rather like Jordan, and think it would go well with Roberts.
On the other hand, though, it is getting pretty popular.
Personally, I don't care for Jordanna as much -- seems a
little too unusual and perhaps a bit on the heavy side. By
the way, my names dictionary says Jordan can swing both ways
-- i.e., it can be given to either a boy or a girl. To
avoid the inevitable gender confusion, though, you might want
to use Jordanna for a girl.
(A little digression ... For some reason, the gender confusion
that I talk about seems to go in only one direction. Whereas
it seems to be no big deal to call a girl Taylor, or Ashley,
or Kylie, or Jordan, it would never do to call a boy Nancy, or
Jill, or Sue. There are a ton of names that were originally
male but which people started calling girls after and which are
now taboo for the male sex -- Shirley, Leslie, Beverly, etc.
This would make an excellent paper for any of you budding
onomatologists out there -- probably a real good example of
	cultural sexism in language.)

Just some other random thoughts ...
o Avoid 4 names -- they are a pain in the butt and they make
the kid sound like he's a member of the Royal Family
o Jordan Michael Roberts -- why not reverse this and call him
Michael Jordan Roberts ... he's sure to be a hit on the
           basketball court (!!!)
o Steven and Kenneth -- a bit on the boring side (especially
	   with a name like Roberts)
o Peter -- has something else other than the combination with
Roberts to not recommend it ... I'll give you a hint: it's
the same reason why Richard isn't as popular as it used to
	   be
o Enquist -- using the mother's maiden name as the first-born
male's middle name is pretty old-fashioned. Was there some
particular reason why you wanted to do this (rich uncle?)?
This seems to be coming back into fashion somewhat though.

o Kelly-renee -- why not just stick with Kelly Renee? ... if
nothing else, to avoid the mispellings (she'll get pretty
tired of "one word, dash, small 'r,'" etc.)
o Also, Kelly and Jillian (I assume Jiilian was a typo) are
	   pretty popular these days.

Well, yesterday was the due date for my close friend and still no
baby and still no agreement on the a name for a boy. Even the two
daughters have each sided with a parent. A name has been agreed
upon for a girl, though. It is Emily Gail Roberts. Emily because
they agree and Gail because it is his mother's name.

Maybe, at the last moment he will give in and let his wife name
their first son Jordan. Jordan means descendant. Then again,
I've been told that it is the wife that fills in the name on the
    birth certificate.

She is willing to go with Jordan Kenneth Roberts, as a compromise.

I can't wait for this baby to be born!!!!
    It is so exciting!!!
I am so excited and I am only a close friend, but it is my first
time knowing someone so well, that it having a baby. I had all
the fun of seeing the effects of hormone in control, low tolerance
levels, moodiness, heartburn, etc. I got to learn all the terminology!
    What a miracle life is!!!!!
GOD really knows how to create that little life and make it grow!!!
    HE is awesome!
