I knew a girl in elementary school named Susan Camilleri. She later
went on to mary a guy named Dave Gerard. The note in .0 fell into
the "it's a small world" category.

BTW: The name of the school we went to was St. Gerard's.
Also, my stepson's name is Ryan.

| | I think both Michael and Jenna are too common now. Michael has
been too common for at least 40 yrs. Just my opinion.

| | I don't know about Ryan Camilleri. Ryan seems, to me, like
a *very* Irish name. It kind of jars with such an Italian
lst name as Camilleri. Maybe something a little more
neutral -- Justin, etc. -- would go better.

I agree. Besides, isn't Ryan getting awfully popular these days?
Personally, I've always loved the name, but I just heard the other
day that my niece has four Ryans in her class at school. There
    goes the idea I had...

| | I too think Ryan is too Irish for your surname. How about a Latin
name like Griffin, Emil or Mark? Just a suggestion.

| | I have two boys with gaelic/irish names (no irish blood though...)

Kyle Raymond (middle name is my father's name)
Ryan Stewart (middle name is my f-in-law's first name)

I wouldn't worry about mixing nationalities - girls do it all the
time!! (we work so hard to make sure the kids names sound right,
then they go and marry someone with a name that doesn't sync...)

My son's name is Ryan Kristopher. That doesn't sound bad with your
    last name.
