    RB (sounds like Arbie)

Maybe if you pick something that you know she'll absolutely hate
and insist on it, then you can agree to a compromise!!! That's
    what I did...........

| | Odd, when we were expecting our baby, I suggested Rebecca to my
then husband and he turned it down because, although he thought
Rebecca was pretty, he hated the nickname, Becky!

I think Rebecca is a pretty name.

| | I also like Rebecca a lot, but if you insist on a nickname,
	here are a few more:
	  Rebbie
	  Reb
If you are a dyed-in-the-wool New Englander, though, I'm not
sure how appropriate these names would be.

| | How about the name Rebekah taken from the Bible, and maybe if you
read about her you might end up liking the name.

| | I could never name my daughter Rebecca. I knew a girl in school
who was the biggest pain in the *ss, always had to be the center
of attention, thought she was the most BEAUTIFUL person, etc. whose
name was Rebecca, called Becky. That's the connection I make.
