We are currently entertaining the thoughts of enlarging our family
and was wondering if anyone out there could provide some insight
and information for the name "Ashley Nicole". We already have a
Brittany Michele and would like the names to "agree"? Any comments
or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

Well, my fiance and I like the name Ashley, but think that it
is over-used and will become like Ann, Mary and Susan were for
our parents. Nicole is really pretty. We like the sound of
a 2 syllabol name first, though. How about Heather Nicole?

Although I think Ashley is a beautiful name, I'm not sure it goes
    well with you last name.....

Ashley Blaney (if this is your last name?)
                    ^^ ^^

How'bout Nicole Ashley Blaney ? I also like the other suggestion
    of Heather.

| It's funny that I didn't even think about last names playing a part,
and the fact is that the last name would be Denine (du-neen). I
hear what .1 is saying about commonality. There were NO Brittany's
when I had my daughter and now it is one of the more common girl's
names floating around. The biggest problem is that my fiance wants
all boys! and his contribution to the girl name pool has been less
than creative (ex: Jane, Sue, Marie -- not that there is anything
wrong with these names, but they aren't what I had in mind). Anyway,
I like Ashley and he OK'd Nicole, hence Ashley Nicole. Does anyone
have any alternative "frilly" names (basically what I mean are names
that sound light and flowery, do you know what I mean?) that would
go with Nicole - either as a middle or first name - and Denine?
We are not jumping into this increase in family size over night,
so I have plenty of time to work this.

P.S. If you have any ideas for boys names, I'm game, but those are
harder to push by him -- he has definite ideas (i.e. Lucas John)

    Thanks again.
