    Hi !
    
    We need help on boys names to go with the surname BUNN !
    We prefer longish names (well with a surname like Bunn
    you have to be careful !) - no Arthur Bunn etc etc ! 
    
    We already have a son called Matthew David, but because 
    my wife & I both have large families (mostly with boys),
    and we do not want to use family names again, we are now
    getting desperate ! (Girls names are ok - but its bound to be a
    boy with our family backgrounds !). 
    
    We cannot have :
    
    Nathan John, Christopher John, Richard, Johnathan, Andrew James,
    Michael Neil, Matthew David, Nigel James .......
    
    We are both keen on Christopher and Michael, but they are my
    brothers names, and we dislike the little Micheal or Michael
    Junior approach. we only have 9 weeks left now so time is running
    out. Favourites at the moment centre on Nicholas & Stephen, but
    though they are 'growing' on us I'm still not sure.
    
    Any help appreciated .... (please)

	How about Philip or Jeffrey or Gregory or Bradford. Why not Graham as a middle name?

	I'm kind of into the rhythm and flow of names, so here is my analysis. For the entire name I'd go for a three sylable first name, and a two sylable middle name. The full name would flow like dah-dah-dah dah-dah dah. Bunn seems to have a soft sound to it, so I'd pick a first name with a hard finish like Frederick. The middle name can be soft ending, but the transition to the b in Bunn should be easy. I think that Alan would have the type of sound I'm describing. Good luck with your choice of names. ASP

	Well thanks for the replies (although I was expecting a few more ?.) I think I agree with .2 as our first boy follows this pattern (Matthew David Bunn flows nicely). seven weeks to go and Steven ???? Bunn is all we have got - but I still think we can do better (although my wife IS working on me !). Graham. (I hope its a girl or it will be noname Bunn !)

	-< Four weeks and counting >- Well only 4 weeks to go so I thought I'd update you all ... Favourite names at the moment are : Nicole (Ann/Loiuse) Bunn or Daniel James Bunn But we're still researching .... Will keep you informed. Do these suggestions spark off any further ideas ?? Graham.

But don't EVER call him "Ham"!!!!
