Sometimes family last names can be uses as first names. My Mom's
maiden name is PORTER which is kind of different as a first name
for a boy. My middle name is ELLIS also a family name. I think it's
kind of a nice idea!

I have a friend whose maiden name was Lanier and she name her little
boy Lanier.(This is his first name and that is what they call him.)
By the way, her name is Tae (Tay) and her little girls name is Bethany.
I think Bethany is pretty.
