70.0. "Brinna" by 18460::KULP () Wed Jan 07 1987 10:51
    I found a name in Yankee Magazine that I like. The name is
    Brinna. The woman was featured as there great New England
    cook this month, a member of the family that makes King
    Arthur flour. Does anyone know how it is pronounced? I like
    the sound of it as Breena, not with a long i sound. I looked
    it up and found it described as a feminine form of Brian, however,
    they didn't have this spelling of it, only Brynna or Bryna.
    I've forgotten what it said the meaning of the name (Brian) was.
    I had never heard this name before, only Briana. Has anyone else?

    Robin

| | I've never seen Brinna before (it's pretty), but Brian means "strong."

| | yes, I heard of Bronna. Maybe your brinna is different, still they
    sound something the same.
