| | I bought Xylogics on November 11th and paid $33. It has since split
and is now about $20 per share. It is based in Burlington Mass
and provides products to Cabletron and others. I have a article
in my car that I just received showing their end of year results
which were impressive. They are using the DEC way of getting a
lot of their products to their customers (through VARS). They
explained that they are fearful that they do not know what
their VARS are holding for inventory and are worried that the
upsurge in their product was to stock the VAR inventories.

I would argue their fearfullness, as most VARS and distributors
do NOT like to carry too much inventory. The company looks solid
    today in my estimation.

| | FYI...

The stock is really moving. If it continues the way its going,
I will double my investment in less than 2 months. It's
acting like Cabletron did a couple of years ago. I made
a bundle on that one too.

| | Is Cabletron still a good stock to hold? Or should I sell it and buy
    XYLOGICS?

    Thanks...

| | I got out at 25. I guess I was getting too greedy. Looks like
I timed one right. I bought Altera at 50. It's now at about 80.
I might get out of this one too before I get greedy again.

I should have stuck with my IBM stock when I bought it at 52 last
year and sold it at 69.

All in the life of a trader.
