    Any info on Platinum Software (Nasdaq: PSQL).  They have dropped from
    a yearly high of $39 to around $13 lately.  I know they develop
    financial sofware.  Any opinion is appreciated.  
    
    Was thinking to buy some for long term holding (proceeds from DEC
    stock sale);))

	I have been watching this company for a while now. My wife uses it
	at work and likes it very much. It made her job of moving corporate
	financial data from a DEC VMS machine to PC's significantly easier
	(with another software called Magic). 

	Strated monitoring the stock at around $22 and saw it go up to
	$29 when they announced the version of their software for Windows. 
	Since then it has been a long slide down. I was lucky that my limit
	order once for $23 was not executed. 

	The software they sell is very expensive (on the order of $20K). 
	They might reduce the prices to generate more market share. 

	I am personally watching the stock for a slight uptick and might
	pick some up under $15.
