So, what *is* the deal with Andrea Electronics?
Today they moved ahead 16-1/4 points. This following a 5-1 split after
an IPO which went through the roof. My estimations are if you entered the
IPO (or even a bit later) with $8,000, you could exit today with a gross
$125,000 before commissions.
Andrea supposedly has some sort of noise cancellation/suppression
technology for public telephones coming on line in 3Q, but that doesn't
seem to me to be the stuff of 5-1 splits....
Anybody know what the deal is? If it's pure speculation that's doing this,
I'd be interested in shorting it....

| There was a report on this mornings KCBS (S.F.) that they were widely held
as a short and the short players were trying to cover madly. Volume is
also wild.

and yesterday it was down 12 and change presumably because people are
waking up but also, there were rumors that the SEC is going to
investigate the volatility.
