490.0. "Theorums to Live By" by GLDOA::SIEMBOR () Thu Jun 03 1993 13:11

    I am hoping the readers of this notesfile can help me.

    While I was attending school, my finance instructor shared a number of
    very interesting business formulas with us. These formulas were orig-
    inally derived by a person that became quite famous for these "common
    sense" theorems and formulas.

    Time has passed (and so has my memory), and I only can recall 1 of
    these theorums.  It is:

    	E = I + CA

    	   where  E = expenses
    		  I = income
    		 CA = credit availability

    This theorum has had a major impact in my personal life in that I try
    to disprove it everyday by living BELOW my means. It has also allowed
    me to have spare money to invest.

    Anyway, has anyone else heard of these theorums? IF so, could you
    tell me where to search for them or post them here?

    Thanks
