| I am a regular listener of Bob's talk show. Though, Bob's "policy" is
not to give any names on the show, he does give his listeners some
hints such as the location of the MF companies, etc. I haven't looked
into any of the Latin America funds. But, I believe what you are
actually looking for are so called "emerging market funds". They mainly
invest in South America and the Far East regions. I think if you
contact companies like T. Rowe Price, Vanguard and Benham, they all
some funds invested in the emerging markets. I personally don't know of
any no-load funds that ONLY invest in Latin America. If anyone knows of
one, please post it here, I am intesreted in finding it out, too. All
the ones I have found so far are closed-end funds.

| In reference to respone .1
I've spoken to T. Rowe Price, Vanguard, Benham, and others. They do not
currently have no load funds which invest primarily in Latin or South
American companies. In some cases a small percentage of some of their
'International' or 'Global' funds invest there but not in a BIG way- just
small percentages. They also have 'hybrid' funds in the Far East mixed
with a small percentages in Latin America, but those are not the funds
for which I'm looking.
Bob Brinker alludes to a fund(s) which invest primarily (if not solely)
in Latin(South) America.

| Take a look at closed-end funds, I beleive there is a Latin-American
fund (I thinnk Scudder is the manager, so you can try and call them
direct for a current copy of the prospectu at 1-800-343-2890)

| the 3 international funds that Bob reccomends for 10% of your portfolio each
are:
emerging mkt: Montgomery Small Cap, SF Cal., 800-428-1871
Europe: Financial Strategic European, Denver Co, 800-525-8085
Asia: T Rowe Price New Asia, Baltimore Md, 800-638-5660
However the minimum purchase amount on the Montgomery fund is VERY high. I
don't remember homw much but probably 2500 or 10000.
the other 2 have very low minimums.

| If you set up a dollar cost average situation of $100/month
you can get into Price funds for 1 or 1.5K unless they changed
their policy recently.

| Actually you can get into T Rowe Price funds with dollar cost averaging
of $100 per month and you do not need any initial investment (like 1K).
Thats how I got into the New Asia fundand also how I got into the Financial
European fund.
I would be interested if anyone knows of a reputable no-load fund for
emerging markets (international) like the Montgomery but with more
reasonable limits.
