The holding trust of the British drug maker, Wellcome PLC (also the
parent company of Burroughs-Wellcome) made an initial offering
yesterday at 15.25.
At about 15, is this a good stock to get into for the long term?
I have wanted to put some money away in a reasonably good drug stock
but find that the prices of many are high enough to be able to buy
chunks of 200-300, some even 100.
B-W has a cash cow in AZT now, but what about the upcoming competition
in AIDS drugs? What are the other major products of B-W?
