    I am looking for a good reference for evaluating the appreciation (or
    depreciation) my total portfolio. Specifically, I would like to see
    either a definition of the equations or sample programs that can help
    with the valuations. I find it difficult to determine the yield
    of a number of investments, purchased and sold throughout the year.

    Any comments??

| Although the base note is 8 months old I'd like some information on any
    DOS-based sw which will help in tracking Mutual Funds, playing 'what
    if' games - from simple to complex.

    Ideally - a sw package in which I would record all investments and be
    able to include expected TR% for 6 mos., 1` yr, 5 years, 10 years;
    inflation %; subjectivly include 'risk' into the calculations, NPV etc.
    Modify assumptions, % confidence etc.

    Is there something like that in the market or in the Public Domain,
    shareware, on Prodigy or Compuserv?
