    I saw this blurb on DowVision_test. Kubota, I think is the majority
    owner in MIPS computers. While I wouldn't like to speculate, I have a
    feeling that this doesn't bode well for MIPS.

    Will DEC sell its 5% of MIPS (@1-2% of SGI now) and take the $1m+
    hit against this quarter's earnings (DEC bought @311,000 shares of
    MIPS in 1989 at $16.37) by selling MIPS now (circa 12-13), or hang
    on and hope that their competitor can bring it back up?  Decisions,
    decisions...  ;-) -kb
