Hello, A simple question, what does HSC event detect exactly ? Thanks, Alain

| 1022.1 | HSC, HSJ, HSD down state... | ULYSSE::HUREZ | Connectivity & Computing Services @VBE. DTN 828-5159 | Fri Mar 28 1997 08:47 | 15 |
It checks HSD, HSJ or HSC device controllers for down state...
For this purpose, it scans the OpenVMS system blocks about the same
way the DCL command $ SHOW CLUSTER/CONTINOUS ... ADD STATUS does.
The event message built has the SNS_C_HSC event code and the following
text: "Storage controller !AS should be inspected"
(where !AS is replaced with the HSC device name).
Best Regards,
-- Olivier.
