I just caught an ad for a show on UPN, "Deadly Games".
Apparently a new show that started a couple weeks ago.
This ad showed Lavar Burton (of ST:TNG fame) wearing some kind
laser blaster on his arm... plays Tues night (here in Cincinnati)
Did anyone catch the premiere? What's the show's premise?

Watched the show last night...
Video game writer's creation "comes to life"; series is episodes
in the battle between the game's protagonist and its creator.
Last nights episode was kinda cute; Lavar's guest appearance was as
the "evil boss" character from the game. The 'blaster' on his arm
shot exploding pink slips; anybody he didn't like got fired :-)
Somewhat entertaining; I'd class it with Sliders re "SF content".
I'll probably check out the next few episodes...
