     I am trying to find/remember the title to a book that I read
    about 2-3 years ago.
    
     It has a wizard in it and a star 'fallen from the sky' keeping the
    fireplace going.
     The door knob opens into different worlds deending which way 
    the knob is turned.	I think that their were 4 worlds
