I am looking for a book I have not seen in eons.
The title is "Mystery At Marr's Hill" and the author is Rene
Prudhommeaux (guess on spelling of both?).
I remember borrowing it from the library back when I was in grade
school in the early sixties. There are a few things I recall about
it:
The cover (dust jacket) showed two people driving a Jetsons-like
spacecraft over an unnamed planet.
The protagonists included some humanoid extraterrestrials who spoke
with "incredibly clear voices". There was also an Earth teenager
named Rick (my nickname, so I naturally identified with him! ;^)
They utilized a locket-like device called an "enza" which absorbed
electric currents from the body and turned it into light.
==================================================
I can remember little else about the book; I remember just enough
to tantalize. Can anyone out there help with a plot, or better
yet, a copy of the book?

Might as well post the question here:
Who wrote the book "Walkers", which was later made into a made-
for-TV movie starring Cheryl Ladd or Farrah Fawcett or someone
like that?
It was about people that were coming back to life in a sort of
"zombie"-type way?
The only author I can think of is Dean R. Koontz, but I don't
think it's him. And now I'm stuck on Alan Dean Foster, but I
don't know if it's him either.
Thanks for any info.

Reg: <<< Note 873.1 by MILKWY::SLABOUNTY "Would you like a McDolphin, sir?" Could you be thinking of "The Long Walk" - one of four short stories by Stephen King included in "The Bachman Books" ??? Dan | |||||

No, this one was out a good time before Bachman surfaced. I
remember reading it about 10 years ago or so.
