| The title is 2015. I hve no idea who wrote it, but I know it's
buried somewhere in my basement. I'll look for it.
I thought it was a pretty bizarre story, but I've read it about
3 times now.

| You're right. I haven't read it since my senior year of high
school, so the memory was a little muffled. It would probably
be a good thing to dig it up and read it over now, just to
try and understand a lot of the things that (understandably) went
over my head the last time I read it.

It's not currently in print, at least not to my knowledge, and
hasn't been for a while (since about the late 70's, I'd say).
A pedantic publishing history:
The story was first published in 1971 as 2150: THE MACRO LOVE
STORY by the Macro Development Center, and under the by-line
of Don & Thea Plym. The impression I get from the book is that
the Macro Development Center was a communal society type thingie
and the book was a science fictional extrapolation of the idea
(I never read the book, myself).
A revised edition, titled simply 2150 A.D., was published under
the name Thea Alexander in the mid-70's by Warner Books.

| Just for your info, I saw '2051' in B.Dalton about a month ago,
I glanced at it, but I didn't get it. Perhaps they've re-released
it and you could order it through a bookstore.

Perhaps it would be best if you poked around in B.Dalton, etc.
I did some scavenging in the ol' cellar and found everything but
2150. (Danny and the Dinosaur, and all those books I bought
from the Scholastic Book Club in 6th grade......)

| Why did the Noter of the Base Note delete all of her Notes in
this Topic? She wrote an interesting description of the novel which
is now gone.
I also think the title of this Topic should be changed to indicate
what SF novel is being discussed here. It would make those looking
for 2150 in the future with the DIR/TITLE=topicname command have
an easier task.

If anyone's interested, I have a copy of this book, that I would be willing
to part with. Send me some mail if you're interested. It's in excellent
condition, and I'd be more interested in a swap than anything else.
