| | There are a total of seven Sanctuary Anthologies, plus the fairly
new novel by Janet Morris (I think). I've got the first six books,
but I didn't enjoy the later ones nearly as much, and thought some
of the stories were just plain boring. Others were too complicated,
introducing a character per minute. In general, I'd say the quality
of writing has declined drastically. I have seen two reviews of
the seventh book, both negative. I don't plan on getting it, which
is a shame since I loved the first 3 or 4 books.

I just remembered the name of the novel - _Shadows of Sanctuary_.
I believe it is about Tempus' adventures at the Wizardwall.
(The title may still be wrong, though)

| | Actually, there are at least 8 anthologies (with a 9th on the way
Real Soon Now) and 2 novels by Morris about Tempus.

Some of the characters created by other authors also appear else-
where, but they are not Thieves' World tie-ins. In fact, the
character that Poul Anderson used in his story in one of the first
anthologies was one that he used for a couple of stories way back
    when.

| | Note 123 lists the "Fafhrd and Gray Mouser" books, but I don't recall
a lengthy discussion of Leiber. Feel free to start one!

at #3-25 sterling each it is a bit much ... . I think I'll wait
for the penguin editions. Yep and your right , they are by ACE.
