    Hi world!
    
    	I am looking for a program that acts as a daemon and waits for
    data on a terminal line ... it should be able to read and write
    onto the line with or without CRC. I would also like to know if
    some has some experience passing files/mail over a terminal line
    to a PC or back. 
    
    	If the daemon is in C, great! Else it's good enough.

	Well yes... Kermit provides a similar capabiliy .. but I would like to develop one myself ... without using kermit.
