| Wasn't there a note recently about this type of thing?
Perform a conversational boot. Set the startup file to the console
(SET/STARTUP OPA0:). Make sure you type SET NOON and SET NOVERIFY when
you get the '$' prompt. You can then delete (or rename) the existing
SYSUAF.DAT and continue the boot procedure with '@SYS$SYSTEM:STARTUP'.
After the system is up and running, log in at the console with any
username and any password. Run AUTHORIZE to create new accounts.

Well I don't know about now. I came into the company as an electrical
systems tech 1 at the age of 17 back in "79". I needed a work permit
just to come in !!!

And I was only 16! To get a permit I had to show that the job wouldn't
interfere with homework, and that it wouldn't involve heavy lifting (?)

| When I started working at Digital in 1975 I was 17. I didn't need
a work permit or any special documentation. Maybe that was because
I had already graduated from high school.

Wrong!
I'm only 17, and i'm a Computer Operator I.
Remember, they hire seniors at technical high schools on a Co-operative
Employment program.
