for the ever-popular "gothic text" program.
Also, you can copy BANNER.C from the same directory.
This generates large, but not huge, letters.
All public-domain.

I need a banner program and the on in one of the replys is missing.
I have GOTHIC.EXE but it doesn't seem to run anymore.

If it doesn't run any more, you should fix your VMS system.
Or, you could copy the sources from
BOLT::DECUSC$LIBRARY:[MISC] GOTHIC.C, GOTTAB.C
Note: they were last modified in 1981, so you may have to do
some editing.

my copy of GOTHIC.EXE from
ECASWS::USRD5$:[HULL]GOTHIC.EXE

| If it stopped working and has been around for a while, it probably
depended on vax-11 rsx. Use a newer version...

| re: .5 I think you also need the datafile GOTHIC.VAP which probably
contains the fonts used by GOTHIC.EXE. I don't think this needs VAX-11 RSX.
A complete set of the 3 files necessary to run GOTHIC may be copied from
QED::USR$:[EVANS.GOTHIC]
