I am working with a customer, and I am getting very confused on what exactly is the DE205 EISA mode. We are using NT 3.51 on an AlphaServer 1000. - What is it, I mean the card is ISA, and I read that there is no performance gain in EISA mode - The DEC2050.CFG ECU does not work. The ECU wants it named @@@0000.CFG, but then when the machine reboots it complains of ID mismatch (ECU V1.9). What am I missing? Frank Blando

The DE203/4/5 can be configured to basically look like an EISA card.
However, this functionality is not supported by most of the drivers. (I
know for a fact the the NT driver doesn't support EISA mode.) You're
correct in that EISA mode does not buy you any performance advantage.
