I saw Tim Russ on SeaQuest on SCI-FI last night. Actually, I saw the last two minutes of the show. I always thought he patterened his mannerisms for Tuvok after Spock. Apparently, he patterned them after himself. Either that, or he doesn't have very many characterizations in his repertoire. He was stoic and his voice and mannerisms were just like Tuvok's. JAM

"Fascinating" ;')
Tim Russ (and 'the guy who plays 'Quark'') are currently in Sydney for
some convention.
A friend I travel on the train with each day is a curator at the
PowerHouse Museum in Sydney, received a phone call yesterday from the
ST Fan Club here in Oz asking if he would care to give Tim a guided
tour through the PowerHouse. Of _course_ he had to think about it (all
of 2 microseconds ;')
He said Tim is one of the nicest guys he has ever met, "humble" in the
sense of not thinking he's anyone special after the success of ST:VOY,
and showed quite a deal of interest in all sorts of things (including, I
suspect, the Babbage Machine the museum now owns ;')
Also, the PowerHouse is holding a 'Star Trek' exhibition later this
year. Wonder if we can get a Netrek game going there too... ? ;')
