| I wonder if Picard will suffer from the usual Federation disease of becoming
an idiot the moment he makes flag rank?
It would be really nice (and all grown up on Star Trek's part) if they
managed to show someone doing a good job at Admiral.

| Well, Haftel was a good one, but he got wolf 359'ed. I agree though,
they always set Admirals up as the captain's adversary and they look
like idiots.

| Even the legendary James T. Kirk. His only failure was trying to be a
successful Admiral. As soon as he was demoted back down to Star Ship Captain
he was a hero once again.
