| Where are you located? I know of a few places in Colorado (we were
just investigating this because a friend is planning on sewing some
sweatpants). Did you buy a pattern from Suitability? I believe they
sell Equisuede.

| I'm in Massachusetts. I got some nice cotton sweatpants from Filene's
Basement really cheap. I might just get sweatpant material and use that
for the patches. I need something so I don't wear through the knees.
Is Suitability in Colorado?
Anyway, the worst part is going to be the sewing. I hate sewing.

| I bought suede patches at Weintraub's in Worcester last year. They
were real suede - don't know if that's what you're looking for. I
sewed them on sweat pants for my neighbor, and she just throws them in
the washer - don't know how they'll hold up this way, tho.
Try a sewing store.

You might be able to use UltraSuede. It looks and feels like suede
but it is synthetic (sp). It goes in the washer and dyer. The big
draw back is the price - VERY expensive. However, if you don't care
about the color, you might find a piece in a remant bin that would
satisfy you.

| Suitability is a mail-order place that sells patterns for all kinds of
riding clothes. I don't sew, but a friend does, and she's making a
pair of riding sweats. I mentioned Suitability because they also sell
material. I don't have the address with me or I'd post it.
