| | I was wondering the same thing this time last year...and
just recently met a woman who rides there when I was taking
a course at DEC. I can't remember her name, or I would
refer you - but I do know that she really likes it there.
They have good school horses, and focus mainly on dressage.

She was involved in a program that cost ~140$/month and
gave 2 one hour lessons a week. The lessons also involved
exercises for the rider, to help you get into shape - and
she took them in the evening.

    Good luck!

| | I"ll vouch for the school horses, two of them were mine!
I get told often that they are frequently fought over as to
who gets which one.. In total they have about 5 horses they
use for the program, all are even tempered and pretty large.
I don't know much about the quality of instruction, but I
understand the program is picking up quite a bit of interest.
I use the indoor during the winter and find the barn to be a
    relaxed atmosphere.

    Good luck!

| | I have taken a couple of clinics with Jo Struby who comes up once in awhile and
have absolutely loved them. The people there are also very nice and the horses
all seem happy and healthy.
The instructor who does the sports conditioning and riding is Liz and she
seems to be a super nice person. I have never seen her teach, but I have watched
the stretching (sports conditioning) part of her lessons and they look fun! Her
students all seem to really enjoy themselves.
I'd say it is a safe bet for lessons!
Good luck in your search,
Linda
