Well - I drive by it everyday, does that qualifiy me? :-)

    If you haven't been there....

They have a nice set of jumps, one set in a fenced in riding ring,
one set in a pasture. Two/three large paddocks. I believe their
riding ring is lit. They have an instructor in house (Denise Marks?).

There was a previous note on this barn earlier in this file that
has better information that I have (which isn't saying much :-).
It was entitled either "Southern NH" or "South Wind".

| | Yes, Denise Marks is the person (last I heard) in charge of Southwind
farm in Hollis. I worked for her for a few seasons when she had
her stable in Tyngsboro. Her stable in Tyngsboro was almost entirely
Hunt Seat (instruction for Hunt Seat Equitiation and Jumping).

As I remember her, she was a competent instructor, but as a working
weekend student she didn't always have the time at the end of a
long day to give me a lesson, so many times I'd just trail ride.

She use to offer "coaching" to her students during shows, and I
remember a couple of times when she allowed students who didn't
have their own horses to use one of hers in a show.

    Cheers,

    -Sue
