2382.0. "PSPA 2.2-51 and NEGVAL" by EVTAI1::LEREUIL () Tue Feb 04 1997 03:53

Hi , My customer running PSDC and PSPA 2.2-51
	on VMS V6.1-1H2 OpenVms on Alpha1000 4/200
and Pspaeco01 ECO KIT has been applied on this system .
When the customer generate a report he can retrieve this random
error , on the random .CPD

% PSPA-W-NEGVALS, Netgative values find in DEcps data,
The clearing of PHD accounting field will cause this. All negative
      zeroed.

the following command to generate report is
$ ADVISE PERFORMANCE report PERF/NODE=ONE NODE
     	/BEGIN=xx/END=xx/out =xx
Expected a Dump report, how can I retrieve these negatives values ?

	Thanks indeed in advance

| | PSPA-W-NEGVALS is expected on systems that run Motif. When you login on a
Motif session the process displaying the login box has it's accounting
values zero'd and thus PSPA will see these new values which would/may be
lower than they were 2 min before. Therefore the change in usage was
negative thus PSPA-W-NEGVALS. The overall effect on the reported data is
insignificant and may be ignored.
BTW this has been discussed multiple times in this conference.
