3116.0. "Bicycling checks" by CALDEC::ALVIDREZ (She makes me write checks) Tue Jul 09 1996 15:21
I haven't seen this subject mentioned before, so here goes:
Does anyone know of a check-printing outfit that produces
checks with a bicycling 'motif'?
I have been using a style of checks that includes a scene
of two bicyclists out of the saddle hammering toward a
sprint. However, it is only one of a 'sport' theme that
includes balloning, boardsailing, skiing, and boat sailing,
one check after the other. I'd rather have just the
bicyclists, thank you.
Whenever I visit the bike store, I try to make sure that the cycling
check is in the right order for the next check I write.
Thanks,
Artie

| 3116.1 | Check with your bank.... | SUBSYS::BRIGHTMAN | PMC - Sitting on a cure for cancer, Join me? | Tue Jul 09 1996 17:22 | 12 |
| | You will be surprised at what the banks have to offer if you ask.
I asked the same question one time while starting a new checking account.
The woman brought out a VERY large book with all kinds of "logos" you could
add to checks. My checks are basically plain with a cyclist printed in the
upper left corner.
We now have "the green check book" & "the Bike check book"

| | There is a company that prints whatever you want on your checks if you
supply them with a picture. Childen and pets are pretty popular, but
    heck! why not your bike!!!!

I don't remember the name of the company...sorry. I'll look for
something tonight at home. It's a company like Current.
