question for the group: does anyone know what component group should be on a 1992 trek 7000? how about a list price? --roger

    Roger,
    
    The TREK 7000 1992 is build up with a combination of Shimano DX and LX,
    thats all I know. The price I don't know because this group has been
    changed/improved over the last years. DX was at that time the second
    best group(of Shimano), XT was the top. Now it's STX, LX, DX, XT, XTR.
    Every bike-store can deliver you this groups but you need some special
    tools to build your bike up.

|     I don't think DX is being made anymore at least I haven't seen it
    offered on new bikes.  Tourney, Altus, Alivio, STX, STX-RC, LX, XT, and 
    XTR are the current offerings according tot the buyers guide I have.
