2955.0. "Recall on Cannondale/Coda 501M cranks" by EXPERI::MENTAL (Got me a caffeine jones!) Wed May 10 1995 15:12
	FYI... If you own a Cannondale w/ Coda 501M cranks. They spec'ed
	them on 95 M900's, and some others (SuperV?).

	Stopped in Landry's a couple weeks back and Mike told us the
	cranks on my wife's Cannondale were being recalled. The fix is to
	replace them (!) with Deore LX's.

	The Coda cranks have a one-piece chainring cluster (CNC'ed from a
	single block), with the right crankarm held to the cluster with
	4 allen-head screws. Apparently, they had some trouble with the
	aluminum being too soft, allowing the allen bolts to work loose.
	That could ruin someone's day.
	/ken
