    As there is a pbp 1987 and a pbp 1991 topic, there should be one
    for this year's.
    It will be held in the week of August 21.

	To add, I finished the first qualifier here in Holland (200 km) last saturday; hard work (cold although sunny, lots of wind - blowing in the wrong direction, of course). I'am not sure whether I will actually participate, but at least I will try to finish the qualifiers. Anyone else planning to participate? jan mulder

	Jan, I'm impressed... Much as I would love to say I did it, it is pretty unlikely - I just don't think I could manage riding in the dark anymore, my eyes are not up to it. I did manage a 200km qualifier myself 5 years ago, but that was because it was there rather than as a qualifier per se. My best wishes to you, have you read Jock Wadley's account of his experiences? Well worth it - I have it in a dog-eared paperback which is probably irreplaceable, but I could be persuaded to lend it.
