    NEW NEWS OF A SERPER:
    
    My hubby SERP'd at 51 to pursue a longtime goal of Mountain Bike
    Racing.   He's been training hard since 9/92 with a goal of
    racing in the 1993 season in NE.
    
    Well, his 1st race (as a beginner) he won 2nd.  Just prior to
    his 2nd race, he discovered he had to move into a higher class
    to compete for the New England Championship series.  So he moved
    up to compete with the Sports/Experts for his second race.
    Truly putting his skills to the test...
    
    He won 5th place, with only a few minutes between him and 2nd,
    3rd, and 4th.
    
    More races to follow, and I expect he'll do well.
    
    Thanks to DEC for giving him the opportunity to achieve this long-
    time goal.
    
    PS - He's a much happier, relaxed, person now.  I hope he never
    returns to the 8-5 routine.
