    My brother was driving up in northern Maine Monday morning and 
    fell asleep at the wheel - not a good thing to do!  Anyway, he
    hit the guard-rail at about 60mph and did a complete roll-over
    where the rail ended.  The car was demolished, and all the 
    doors jammed shut, but he managed to crall out a rear window.
    
    What does this have to do with bikes - you ask?  He should have
    been killed, but he had a Thule bike rack on the roof.  The
    thing now looks like a bavarian pretzle, but the state police
    was convinced that it saved his life!   
    
    Another great story on the healthful effects of cycling!
