I would like to know what it would take to make my 7 speed Trek 1200 into an 8 speed. I recently changed my rear cog from a 13x23 to a 13x21. If I went with 8 speeds not only would I get the 16, but I would also get the 23 going with a 13x23 on an 8 speed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Mike

From a DIR/TIT=SPEED/SINCE=1-OCT-1992:

There's quite a discussion in that note.
