I've got a good mind to write the Wide World of Sports and TV Guide
for the devious and disappointing/misrepresented cover of the Paris-
Roubaix this past Saturday.
Here I am, on a Saturday afternoon waiting patiently (with my silver
bullets) at home for 4:30 to roll around... Ya right! Not even a
minute's worth of time devoted to the race. They gave the stupid
horse race about 5 times the coverage (for a 2 1/2 minute event).
When are these clowns going to do something smart. I'm not really
pissed because they presented a miniaturized version of coverage.
They should have never advertised it! My definition of coverage
and theirs are worlds apart.
Just venting... Had to get that off my chest. Anyone else get
duped by the TV Guide's listing? I hate it! I hate it! I hate it!
Oh yea, I wish they'd put more figure skating on too! ;-)

I, like Chip, made the same mistake.
Unfortunately, I have no excuse. ABC did the same thing
last year.
Their argument is that they cannot afford to cover
Paris-Roubaix and the Tour de France well if they have
to cover both.
I shoulda known; I shoulda known.
