I bought a Diamond Back Apex from Ultra Sports in Manchester. They were
selling them for $559 regular price is $670. If you live in the area
check them out, the shop is on Elm St near City Hall.

| | Yeah, Ultrasports is alright. I got my road bike there.
For ATB riding in Manchester, Livingston park is a good place to
start. There's some trails that run around the pond on the other
side of rt 3. Not real technical stuff, but challenging enough
    to start on.
Massibesic (sp) lake has a ton of trails all through it. You can
spend hours there and not ride the same trail twice.

Town Forest still exists and is available?

    Thanks,

| 1857.5 | Massabesic Lake and Mt. Unconunik (s.p.) | AIMHI::LARSON |  | Thu Feb 28 1991 18:02 | 9 |
| | I've done quite a bit of MTBing in Manchester. Mt UnK is good but finding the
trails are tough. St. Anselm's College has some trails in the woods (very hilly
though). Massabesic is heaven. You can go to Canada or Boston on the retired
railroad beds. Once you get agressive there are plenty of rocky/rooty snowmobile
trails to attack. One word of caution. In the fall there are tons of hunters
who don't necessarily have strict discipline when it comes to firing their
weapon. I recently moved 1 mile from Massabesic so if anyone is interested in
some day trips (Bear Brook State Park is an all day afair) drop me a line.

| 1857.6 | would be nice to ride with friends. | SALEM::SHAW | Vertical Obsession... | Fri Mar 01 1991 10:53 | 13 |

Hi, I would be very interested to participate as well. Especially in
the Spring/Summer time frame. I live in Londonderry NH. I did try
Massabesic once with a friend and there is some interesting riding
    there.
In the White mountains, Loon Mt. will have moutain biking both on its
cross country trails and on the mountain itself, however this would be
after the ski season. My feelings are that this is the rule for all
    ski moutains.
Maybe we could start a distribution list of interested parties in
MTBing around NH, Vt. area, for day trips and weekends.

| | There are "endless" trails in the Mine Falls Park area of Nashua.
Take EXIT 6 West. Take your first left onto Coliseum Ave. Go to the end
and park. Its a great place to get lost ... nice scenery and many
    cyclists during these warm months.

| | I have a map from the Manchester Water Works of the Massabesic area if
anyone would like a copy. If you're in MKO1 drop by pole 2C8.
The best trails I know of are around Little Masabesic.

Has anyone used the snow machine trail that goes from the lake up to
Bear Brook? I was up at Tower Hill the other day and wondered if it
was a good trail to bike.

What about the Pawtuckaway area? I've hiked around there and there are a
    lot of trails.
