Has anyone been to any of the workshops that the New England Cycle
Academy puts on. I'm interested in starting a small repair shop in
my basement and thought this might be a good source of info.

Back when there was an active DEC Bike Club, we had a meeting at
Spit Brook with the founder of NECA as the speaker. I was impressed
with his knowledge of bicycling, not only the what kind of stuff, but
the more important why's. Their development of the FIT KIT has marked
them as one of the more rational (rather than dogmatic, traditional)
outfits in cycling.
While I have little knowledge of their workshops, Paul Randazzo,
whose knowledge I respect, is sometime involved in these.
I would be very interested in hearing from an attendee. - Chris

I got the following info from Naults's in Manchester:
New England Cycling Acedemy is in West Lebanon, NH
Phone 603-298-7784
I just called and talked to Bill Farrel, developer of the FIT KIT. My
wife is so small she's off the regular charts, but Bill was very
helpful in advising me what to get (namely, a Terry).
Happy trials, Tom
