I am building up a Bianchi SLX frameset. I put my money into the
frame and don't have much to spend on components. I will be
transfering most of my parts off of my TREK 400D and onto my new
frameset. In the future I will upgrade the components, Campy Athena,
    probably.

I do have one critical need. I cannot locate an Italian bottom bracket
to fit my Sakae SX crankset. I have heard bad things about trying
for a "close" fit. So instead of buying a B.B. that should work
"okay" I am considering getting another crank. I cannot afford
a new one at this time.....so I am looking for a used Campy or better
quality Shimano/Suntour etc. crank that I can readily buy a B.B.
    for.

Any suggestions would be appreciated as well.

    Thanks for the help.

| Check the Performance catalog, I remember seeing their own brand
of BB were inexpensive and are offered both English and Italian.
I also believe they offered three types to fit most crank arms.
