I may be jumping the gun a little bit, but I would like to take a
clinc or class that teaches BASIC repairs and tuning before the
season begins. I do quite a bit of riding by myself in the early
morning and would like to be able to handle any emergency repairs.

Does anyone know of any place in the Nashua, NH area which offers a
    clinic or course like this?

    Thanks.
    Ellen

Sunshine Sports on the DW Highway (across from the Pheasant Lane
Mall) used to offer classes a couple of years ago. It might be
worth a call. You may also give Goodale's bike shop a call to see
if they know of any possible classes.

| Its a late reply but the interest was there for myself anyway, maybe
    others as well.
I was out at REI in Reading Ma. yesterday and got some information on
bile clinics they will be running this spring. They're free and run
in the evening on three consecutive wednesdays in April.

Master Technician, Rick Horsman. The clinic covers how to
remove, clean, inspect, install and trouble-shoot both headsets
     and bottom brackets.

     Wednesday, April 22
Bike Technician Series #2- Brake & Derailleur Systems
Geared toward adjustment and installation of brake and derailleur
     systems.

     Wednesday, April 29
Bike Technician Series #3- Wheels, Hubs & Tires
Clinic covers replacing spokes, wheel theory, hub adjustments,
     tire installation and selection.

Also on Thursday, April 9, "On The Road" Bicycle Repairs
Tech teaches basic bike repairs for cyclists who find themselves
in need of on the road adjustments. Covers fixing flat tires,
replacing spokes, adjusting bottom brackets and headsets, replacing
chain links, adjusting and replacing gear and brake cables.
