Does anyone know where I can get the best price for a Biachi Volpe?
I live in Watertown, MA, so the closer the better, but I can easily
pick it up here in the Nashua area if they're available around here.

Why do you want a Volpe? To dust a few mountain bikes near the power
lines, or to bounce over the frost heaves on Francestown Turnpike? Is
cyclocross making a comeback?

PS - I saw them a few months ago for about $550 at Belmont Wheelworks
and the Bicycle Exchange in Cambridge. I think the price is
pretty standard. Asking over the phone might yield the best
price, if you're certain that's the bike you want.

Did you get the Volpe (or does anyone else have one). I'm curious what you think of it. How does it do on the road? I don't expect it to respond like a racer, but is it comparable to a bike set up for moderate touring? Ed | |||||
