Does anyone know of any organizations that hold mountain bike races
in New England? I was wondering if there would be any schedules
available that list races for the season.
Also, while we're on the subject of mountain bike racing, are there
special requirements for a RACING ATB, such as frame geometries,
shift components, etc. Can anyone recommend any a good racing mountain
bikes?

I seem to recall, while browsing through the current issue of
Mountain Biking, a schedule of National events, at least one
of which was in New England. I don't own the magazine, but
I'll see if I can get the date and place of the event(s).

BACK IN JUNE. IF YOU'RE LOOKING TO RACE YOU MIGHT WANT TO CONSIDER A
RACE THAT IS HELD IN LEOMINSTER AT THE SPORTSMAN'S CLUB ON SUNDAY,
SEPTEMBER 17 AT 9AM. IT'S A RACE TO BENEFIT THE MUSCULAR DISTROPHY
