Conference noted::bicycle

I scheduled 7 for the April-May time frame from the Sheraton Tara
in Nashua.  Something like each Saturday except May 7 and 21 at 8 am.
The routes are all different.

Each has a route map, starting time, closing time, 30 day advance
publications and whatever nitties are needed for the "UMCA Century"
classification (including "names" which escape me at the moment).

My interpretation of the UMCA guidelines is that "published" mean at
least in a club newsletter 30 days prior to the event.  The sponsoring
club is the Granite State Wheelmen (now undergoing yet another
sexist-related-identity-crisis) and the issue is March-April.

And, no thanks, I don't need anymore copies.

I think we got off the "century" topic again.  The identity crisis
is "WheelMEN" versus non-sexist names like Bicycle Club, etc.  The club
is not likely to be less worthwhile as a result.  I hate to hear fellow
board members discussing such baloney and wasting my time but it's the
old story of "if you don't participate the club won't do what you want."
I want hard riding centuries and will fight as hard as possible to get
them when and where I want them.

    BMB hopefuls, century maniacs and those in search of a good time
