| 545.1 | Centuries? | FENNEL::HATCHER |  | Tue Feb 16 1988 13:47 | 6 |
| | I am proceeding well in my off season training and would like to
    start some long rides when the roads clear.

    I've never done a century and would like to do one in the spring.
    Does anyone know of any centuries in the May-July time frame in
    the Nashua area?

| | re .1	The first B-M-B qualifier is 200 Km in early May, I
    think. Alternatively we could set up an informal just_fer_fun_run.
    Anyone else want to aim for a May century in this area ?

| 545.3 | Century on May 7th | NOVA::HOLDEN |  | Tue Feb 16 1988 15:33 | 7 |
| | Right, if you consider Newton in the Nashua area then the
    200km (124 miles or thereabouts) fits right in. Its
    scheduled for May 7th. Cost is minimal (about $5) and
    there will undoubtedly be riders of various levels to
    ride with. The course will probably be the same as last
    year. Its a little hilly and scenic.

|  |     Hi,

    How about the second oldest TOSRV. I'm talking about TOSRV-EAST
    which is held every June in scenic and very hilly Vermont. It has
    same format as TOSRV in Ohio.

    Re to .1
    One of the 2 days of centuries would fit your bill since it is late
    June.

Joe,
   Tell us more about TOSRV-EAST please. It could be very useful to those of
use planning on doing BMB.

   Yes, UMBIKE. I'm the proud father of a new Vaxstation 2000, and that's my
node name. Stands for Ultra-Marathon bike, if you hadn't guessed!

| | Sally and I have an opening for this coming weekend's TOSRV. Read .0 for more
info on this ride. If you would like to get in a quick 210 miles, give me a
call at dtn 225-5275.
We will be leaving Thursday night, and returning Monday so to qualify for this
ride, you need at least 16 vacation hours :-)
